eBay emblem overlays

Has anyone purchased these cheap overlays off eBay? Wondering about quality and if they stick well.

 

Their so amazing I bought a Tacoma just so I could use them.

 

I don't know about this particular seller, but many say overlays when they are the actual emblems. I bought a set (emblems) from another seller and very pleased with them.

 

I recently bought overlays off eBay. I used a heat gun to warm the adhesive slightly on the overlays as well as applied heat to my OEM emblems before putting them on. So far, I'm pleased with the looks of them. I can't comment yet on the adhesive quality or sun fade. They've been on a weeks so far with no issues.

 

I personally don't think they can look all that great. It seems like they just would look cheap and not very professional. My last Tacoma I spray plasti-dipped my emblems and they turned out great. Clean, professional and oem looking. A lot of utube videos on how to do it.

 

I have the eBay overlays on my truck. Only been on for a few months still looking good.

I scratched the back of one with a pick to verify they were black plastic all the way through and not painted chrome and they were black plastic. So at least there isn't paint to flake off.

 

are you sure those are overlays? they look like the actual emblems to me.

Find a seller with good feedback, pay with PayPal linked to a Credit Card. If you get scammed at least you can dispute with PayPal or your Credit Card.

 

Found a pick of my plasti-dip emblem from my old 2012. They held a great 3 winters and plenty of car washes before I traded.

 

I have the southeast Toyota set in the garage via ebay from Toyota of Miami or some crap. They're legitimate, thats all that matters. A knockoff is a knockoff and therefore a gamble.
