Thanks for checking out this thread!

I'm generating a list of folks who would be interested in a set of these mounts for their 3rd Gen Tacoma.

If you are interested, I'm going to ask you do the following (in the example format below):
    1. Post your username and if you are interested in Driver Side or Passenger side or both.
    2. If you have a front bed rail added? - If not let me know, and also here's a link to one for an easy and useful mod.
    3. Dimensions of A and B (if possible) for fitment verification. I do not have a 3rd gen but I will be testing on one soon, and I want to ensure my mounts will fit.
Example for you to copy and paste and delete what's not needed:
    1. USERNAME - Driver Side | Passenger Side | Both
    2. Yes | No but I plan to add one | No and I am not adding one
    3. A - 2.125" B - 2.125

The front rail is great because it adds to the rigidity of the mount:

If you do NOT have the front rail and are not planning to add it, I have a solution i'm working on as well. Stay tuned!

    Thanks for your support!

Here's a link to the existing thread on SideRide Bike mounts that work with only second gens for more information about the current offering - LINK

I’d be interested! Drivers side side mount without front rail and don’t want to add one unless I need to

Primodude I might be interested in both driver and passenger . No front rail added. Might add one. Currently running an oem Bed cover. Would be great if I could use these with the oem cover. Any idea if this would put too much strain on the bedsides?

I would be interested as well once more information comes out. I do not have a front rail and I hope it works with an oem tonneau as well. Oh and works with the 3rd Gen

Sorry for the late responses everyone, I thought I was watching but I didn't get any notifications!

    Added and thank you!!

Thanks! Do you have a cap on currently or something?

    Added!! Thanks!!

I don't think it will add too much strain to the bedsides. Especially if the front rail is there to be mounted to.

I do not know if a version I'm making will work with it, but if it occupies the same space as the mounts and can fit overtop, it most likely won't fit unfortunately.

Thanks for following the format and your interest!

This is the 3rd gen specific thread so it should!!

Disclaimer: I may have to modify the brackets and/or my truck due to having a soft rolling bed cover and RTT rack.

Found your post... very interested! I’m waiting for my Mobtown bed rack. Not sure the clearance/mounting foot print of that rack. Do you know/think this could work together? Yes I have a front rail added.

second question, do the bike pedals rub/hit the topper?

I do not know anything about the Mobtown rack, but if it mounts near the front of the bed it could cause a problem. That being said I have a few versions and 1 might work with it!

And no, pedals have plenty of clearance as long as the inside pedal closest to the Softopper is up.

When the rack gets here, can I work with you and get some measurements for you to look at? I really love the idea!

yeah we’ll see if it works. When you get a chance, can you measure for A and B?
