We've got 5 Tetra Browns that are almost 2 years old; all hens, all active layers. Just got 2 Silkie Bantam chicks that are 1.5 months old; hoping they are both hens, but it will be a few more months before we know.

They’re just establishing their pecking order. They finished their “fight” later. All normal.

Miracle the white one had one eye, so she always got picked on until I separated her. Once in a while though, I'd still let them together while watching them. The crazy thing is, little Miracle ended up being the one usually attacking all the big girls who used to hurt her! She was a great chicken. This is Miracle riding my goat Feleen!

Got rid of the Rooster about a month ago. Egg production went up immediately. Now with summer coming egg production is really going up!
