    I recently bought a 2020 V6 access cab sr5 taco after owning a 01 tundra for nearly 2 decades, and 292k miles. Question i have are these taco 6 speed auto trannys always that busy on steeper grades?...it can't seem to figure what gear to stay in. My tundra seemed a happier truck. Otherwise i love the new tacoma, especially the jump in fuel economy.

    Thanks, glad to hear that. I also noticed some minor shudder when braking to a stop down steeper streets here. Dealer claimed its normal...seems more to me its an issue in the auto trans converter and not the anti-lock brake system.
