bed liner (Raptor liner) in place of rock guard?

    I'm looking to have some bodywork done to my truck now that I have replaced the bed with a newer (better condition) one.

    My question pertains to the factory texture at the bottom of the fenders and bed sides. I believe it's call rock guard. I haven't asked the body shop if they can replicate this (they should if they are are good shop, right?).

    I was thinking that if they just spray the fender and then later I'll tape off and apply tintable (white) Raptor liner it would have the same effect.

    You're Super White? I think if you color match it, it'll look great and hold up well. I've used Raptor Liner on all kinds of stuff including my current bumpers and sliders. It's great stuff. FYI, however, my results with "color-matched" silver on another project were...less than matched.

    Yes, my truck is super white. I don't think there would be much of a color difference plus the fact that it will only be a small area that is coated with Raptor liner.
