That's a great deal. Double cabs are definitely more popular than the access cabs. Maybe its the combo of that and with what's currently going on in the world? Also, probably trying to get that off the lot ASAP to make space for another vehicle.

Welcome to TW. Since you posted :
**Function and reliability most important; bells and whistles/electronics bottom of the list.**
Also since you are considering older and preowned I would surmise that price is somewhat important. My conclusion then is as follows,
The model that would meet your criteria is a SR. Less bells/electronics, less money as well . You can get a new 2020 V6 4wd for less $ than the used 2018/19 prices you were quoted. Consequently you get the full warranty, a new truck and the fifth year of the current generation, which should translate to the highest reliability. Oh and you won't have to carry around that TRD OR sticker on the back panels of your truck!:)

I've had many Toyotas all of which ran high miles pretty much carefree. i would still be driving my 06 Tundra except for frame rust. Bought 2020 OR tacoma pretty much loaded-and love it. Love my sun roof/apple car play/safety items like lane departure/backup warnings/leather and MT. Fun! Looking to put a diamondback tonneau on it and enjoy my retirement criss crossing North America. Slightly underpowered but decent on MPH. Enjoy.

The residual on a lease return is right around 26-29. So maybe it was a lease return and they're just trying to make a little off of it
