when i replaced the front brake line on my dirtbike, it was a motherf'r to bleed. if possible, bench bleeding the whole assy might be the best/fastest route

Mostly stock with a few minor mods.
I have a 2 stroke question for the experts (not my area of expertise)...my little buddy (15 year old son of my friend) has a Yamaha YZ250 and he says the plug keeps fouling really quickly, like each day he rides. Any idea what that might be? He tried using leaner gas mix and it still does it. I told him I'd ask you guys since I can't go check it out and he's jonesing to keep riding.

It needs jetted or carb cleaned or the silencer cleaned if it has a spark arrestor.

Idk going through the work it just looks out of place being long like that. Gravity bleed the new line. Zip tie the brake lever down and leave the end of the line open. Itll work its way down then bolt it on

It was 2" longer on my blue 48. Actually, thinking about the length, it doesn't have a right angle going into the ABS box. I did outside routing on the red 48, and used the stock rubber coupler to secure to the triple tree (not shown. Ill get more pictures later)

Will gravity bleeding mess up the ABS? I tried to get a bike without abs, but most are coming with it now. Even the lowly Sportster.

Does it really look that horrible here? I didn't think so

Uh idk about the abs actually. Ya know i dont even know that ive paid attention on my 690.

I just think it looks out of place and could be cleaner. Loop it up top like a dirtbike?

isnt it counteractive if the master cylinder is lower than the line? I thought it needed to be the highest point

    I was kinda dumb/kinda smart..

I bought the blue Anniversary 2018 48, under Harley's Freedom Promise program. That entailed that you can buy a Street or a Sportster, ride it for a year, and put unlimited miles, and then trade it in, and get your full sale price as your trade value. I bought it, did the exact same mods as current (minus seat, sissy bar, and bars), put 2500 miles on it, and then traded it in for a 2019 Softail Slim. My ex-friend convinced me to do more moto camping and longer distances. After getting the Slim, I decided that I didnt like long distance riding or moto camping, because I built my truck for that..

So I traded the Slim to a used bike dealer, for the Triumph Speed Triple. Then I got a gf, and she didnt like the high seat. I missed the blue 48, so I got another one..

The Slim doesn't photograph as well as the 48s ;)

I agree with buying another brake line, but if that isn't an option, outside looks better than inside.

So where it joins the box under the triple tree, it comes straight out. The little arm doesn't angle up. Ill get more pictures soon. But I think in its current configuration, it works out. Even the stock line was tight in that area, because it came straight up

Well. Just realized my temporary operating permit is no longer valid. Called the DMV up. I was told to use their online service thing. So just sent all the info in. Hopefully I was given the proper title copy or registration or whatever. We’ll see in a few days what happens I suppose.
