I want to keep stock suspension on my 2008 Tacoma Double Cab Sport RWD. I would like to know if a 17x9 and -12 offset and 4.5 bs would be too much for stock?

Going to Run 265 70 17s....Will I have rubbing? What should I do, what are your expert recommendations?

P.S. sorry to those of you who will get triggered and call me a mean word and tell me to go search through threads....I did try. :)

I will most likely be going with 265 75 17 Duratracs...I’m hoping it is just minor plastic fender trimming

I have stock trd suspension on

Wheels: Pro Comp series 69: 17x9 -6 offset
    Tires: Cooper Discoverer ATP 265 70 17

    Minor rubbing.

You plan to run a lower offset than I have so you will likely rub more because your tires will stick out more and hit the front fender flare or the rear part of the splash guard

Thank you for the input man! I’m still trying to get a grasp of all of this.
Do you have any photos to share? Would love to see the stance and setup?

If all I have to trim is plastic then it’s ok, but I want to avoid Metal trimming.
