Per the owners site it only affected 300,000 Tacoma's. Could be a long wait for this fix.

Yeah I got the notice, waiting on remedy. 2018, build date 03/18. Plus the Covid shut down, might be awhile.

I got the notice. About two weeks after I was in for an oil change. I mentioned a “stumbling” or a fuel starvation issue and the service manager looked at me like I was nuts and said he hadn’t heard of any such thing. I wonder if he heard now??!!

mine did that yesterday I believe it is part a fuel pump issue. I have had mine replaced already once. Took me a month to get it back from dealer. When it went out the first time it only stumbled once at a idle that I know of before it failed pulling out into traffic it stalled and backfired several times and lost all power.
I barely got it pulled off the road then it wouldn’t move at all in gear. The funny thing noticed after it was replaced is my truck did not sound the same at idle after the fuel pump was replaced. It sounded like my truck was calling someone. The sound your phone makes when it’s ringing on the other end before they pick up. Mine started sounding like that again two weeks ago now that it stumbled yesterday I do think it’s going to go out again in the near future. I now have 53k on it.

Also after it went out I got tired of waiting for a tow truck to pick it up. So I went back to clean it out and decided to try it to show a guy I work with what it was doing and it fired right up went ahead and drove it 5 miles home and it ran perfect all the way there.

Two recalls showed up for me when I plugged in my Blue Driver OBDII scanner. One is a Brake master cylinder recall, and the other is the low-pressure fuel pump. I checked my truck on NHTSA and Toyota and neither found a recall by VIN #. My dealer also said no recalls, but I believe that's because they are in process of getting a fix and notifying everyone. Also, dealer just flashed my ECU which was running old code. WAY BETTER!!

I'm waiting to hear what Toyota Canada has to say about the recalls, but I'm figuring my truck is in the mix.
