ive been out of the game for some time now, i make way too much money selling insurance to fool around with caraudio anymore! i know wiggens is a good builder and back about 6 years ago the high excursion subs were all the rage, dont know if thats still the case or not. i thought the XBL^2 technology was already out back then, but thilo patented the linear wound coils, simply genious technology and so incredibly simple, im amazed nobody figured out how to make a flat BL curve like TC did, also the patented surround wont cavitate or wobble under high excursion. to be honest no matter how you look at it TC makes some of THE BEST stuff around hands down. sure some subs have advantages and disadvantages but i think overall it's hard to deny the audio pulse subs are leading edge technology. to be honest i am glad thilo finally started getting the reckognition he deserves for HIS designs rather than selling thoes technologies to OEM and let them take all the credit!
replacable top assemblies was another leading edge idea and makes sence especially when it comes to shipping a 40 lb chunk of metal attached to the back of a sub that makes good sence! i know the brama subs had several that arrived damaged due to dropped packages the damn magnet broke the frames!
i had no idea they were in parts express, but hey you got to advertize someplace right? might as well be with a company who is probably a leader in DIY speaker enclosures.

people have been stuffing way too many subs in way too small of spaces for a long time. just because you can does not mean you should. if you knew anything about ported boxes you would know that you get way more output with a single 10 and a port and in less space than 2 10's would need to achieve the same results.
also a ported box will play way lower than any sealed box if designed right.
the problem with car audio these days is that any fool with some wood and a saw can make a box and stick some subs in it. it takes an audio professional to make somthing that uses the laws of physics to their advantage and make it sound great.

so to answer your question, yes you could, but the fact you asked that question tells me that when your done you will have spent a lot of money and have a pretty crappy sounding box that your not happy with.

ive been asked will i build a box, the answer is yes but you would not be able to afford what i would want for the time and effort. back in the day i did this for a living. and now my time is worth about 100 an hour to me. it would take me at least 3 days to build another like this. but if you were willing to pay that much the finished product would be well worth it.

i cannot tell you how many people have sat in my truck and told me their 2 12 in ch subs running 2x the power cant hit as hard as my single 10 or play as low.
you would have to hear it for yourself to understand.

I think his response was just fine. The man knows what he's doing for sure.

However, you (for whatever reason) decided that bumping this month old thread to call him out was extremely important and merited your action.
