can't adjust sub level

    that's what I was thinking... lol... if there isn't any audio going in there shouldn't be anything going out unless it miraculously knows what it's playing...

    ya unless i hooked something up wrong to the deck but all that there is to hook up is the rca and the remote wire

    There is two slots that are able to receive rca jacks in the back of the deck just like there is on the amp.... You shouldn't be getting ANY sound to the sub if you have it connected to the Line Out. The rca cables are what provide the sound to the amp and the amp transfers that thru the speaker wire to the subwoofer.

    ok ill have to mess around with it the morning. never have i had this kind of problem before.:confused:

    when the amp gets turned on, does it trigger the "safety circuit"? (yellow light on the side) or does it stay green?

    Do you have multiple RCA outputs coming out of your deck? If so, check to make sure it's connected to either the sub RCAs on the deck, or to a rear channel RCA on the deck.

    Might also be that if it's connected to a rear channel RCA on the deck that the fader control is not set to enable the rear channels.

    Could your amp only be able to take speaker level inputs?
