    Screw a raptor.. MY thoughts....

while cool an all. I'm not having it. Yes it as close to an off the floor (minimum) race truck as you can buy, but i still wouldn't have it. Yes a lot of thought goes it to a stock trucks suspension, but there's a lot more to it. A stock trucks suspension has to play several rolls. at a race truck.. suspension is looked at for a particular reason/set up. something that is not looked at of sold on today's market.

take an old school pre-runner and 4 wheel it.. if that's what you are after. you's go tit going on.

Thinking SCORE stock series or modified.

You need to find your roll center and lower it.

I have been watching yore fun off line.. Set up is not the same everywhere. Your current might be awesome on your property, but can suck ass anywhere else. Just saying.

Not to knock your build at all. I do dig it. That said, east coast running in the hills equals cool. out mid west, or west could very well be terrible. The thing is... You build for what you run on a regular basis. Every one is different in what they want. I like a low and go (Low COG) as to height and a crap load of travel.

Don't mind me... Been drinking for awhile and talking outta my right knee.

Yeah. Im an idiot. Drinking a lot got the best of me last night, with no idea of what I’m talking about.

Seriously. Take what ever I say with a pile of shit.

I will shut up now. And go back to reading... and reading only.

We use baby oil in the Adirondacks to put a layer of "grease" on the skin to keep them away. You can add some essential oils to make it smell more fancy to your liking but lavender usually acts as a deterrent for mosquitoes. Not sure about these things tho.

    Gore?

I am clueless about suspension setups on the Tacoma but do not like how my stock 18 off-road is riding whenever its loaded. Feel like its hitting the bump stops on every speed bump, uneven road surface etc. Is there a sheet that shows calculations made based on expected load levels?

    A thing or two...
Most people ditch either swaybar when they lift their truck.

The spacer is internal to the shock and limits the down travel, not the uptravel.

Are there any good shops around here (Fredericksburg) that carry ARB products? I’m looking at getting a new pressure switch and 12V 40A relays for my compressor. It suddenly stopped working and I believe it’s one of those two parts working as it passed all the other tests.

I ordered both of these from 4WP but I got an email two weeks ago that the parts are being shipping directly from the manufacturer- that’s the last I heard from them. I’m tired of waiting and want it to get it back up and running ASAP so I can “social distance” on some 4x4 trails.

I would imagine with a little digging you can find an unbranded replacement. A relay and a pressure switch aren’t exactly unique things. Even if it’s an interim solution until the arb ones arrive. I doubt anyone will have those readily available.

What Randy said. Those are standard parts. The relay may cause some trouble because of the connectors, but function is the same. The pressure switch, just make sure of the cut off psi is the same and the thread. Amazon should have all you need.
