    Thank you!
I don't believe so. I followed the basics from this thread- Heated them up, split the halves, lightly sanded, 3 or 4 light coats of black, reheated, and put the halves back together. I suggest planning a couple hours to do it, between heating them up (twice) and waiting for the coats of paint to dry. It was easier than I thought it would be, just take your time.

How many people painted the entire bezel and how many taped off some sections? I painted the entire bezel and when I reinstalled it I noticed that the amber corner light is quite dim. The chrome part of the bezel there that most of us painted over must actually work as a reflector. Woops. I came across 3 "How To BHLM" threads and it's only mentioned in the one I didn't read. Oh well, just a heads up if anyone wants to keep that light more functional. The DRL/signal light still seems plenty bright as its reflector is more so in the housing. I'll post this in both how to threads for anyone interested.

Still looks good. I'll post a picture tomorrow.

I blacked out the whole bezel. I wanted as much black as possible. I ditched the yellow blinker lense, but I kept the orange reflector because I think it is a legal requirement. The only thing I would have done differently is masked off the turn signal reflector and fogged the turn signal lense. Then it would keep the light out put and look black when it's off I think. As long as my headlights and high beams are bright and the other two lights put out amber light I'm good with it. Especially because I made it through some rain without any moisture in my lenses.

Those all look awesome. Sorry for sounding stupid, but what are you guys painting the bezel with? I've done this with sportbike headlights before, but the paint I used looked pretty shitty after awhile. Think the heat beat it up quickly. I'd really like to do my headlights and tailights, but what product did you use, and has it held up pretty good over time?

I went with gloss black Krylon Fusion, I think it looks really good. I'll try and post a picture as soon as I get a chance. I was debating between satin and gloss but I'm happy with my choice. I'd recommend two cans. It uses more than you'd think because of all the funny angles. I used one right till empty and would have put more but it was the long weekend and the only place I could find the paint was closed.

Thank you OP. I used Rust-Oleum Painters Touch Satin Black.
