Had 5% all the way around and 50% on the front window in my last taco. Living in Florida it was a life saver. Added the 50 up front after the 5 and will say it makes a huge difference. Not only from heat but glare when driving and in rain. Not exactly legal but police don’t fuss too much about tint here.

Went in for 5k service which Includes an oil change which they “did”

Does that look like 1 day old 0w-20 full synthetic to you?

    Doesn't to me but.......
Looks awfully dark for a synthetic at 5k. Dunno. :notsure:
If you question "their" service any other Toyota dealership would be happy to perform your Toyota Care maintenance service, it's money in their pockets.

Unfortunately only one around here that has the auto butler so I’ll have to go to them every 6 months but I do have one closer for scheduled maintenance so I will go to that one next time.

If you are quite sure the oil didn't get changed then I would be filing a complaint with the dealership and Toyota if necessary.

Some dealer specific coating bs that I got them to toss on as a freebie when I got it. It’s pretty much a wax coating they do twice a year. Protects clear coat.

I'm curious. What made you drain your oil after only one day of it supposedly being changed, or am I missing something here?

If you have serious concerns over an oil change I would probably question all of their services, even their paint care services.

Check my dip stick often, better safe then sorry, and it looked dark on a napkin. I know what 0w-20 look and it should not be that dark after 1 day 50 miles on it at max. The butler thing is automated but will keep a close eye on it if I even go back for it.

Not a clue how it happened, especially with me working from home and only putting 100 miles on it in the last month.

You may want to contact Toyota and express your concerns.

Spent the weekend building my Cali Raised LED Premium Roof Rack with 43" Light Bar, wiring and installing my SP 9100, and installing the SiriusXM receiver to my Alpine Halo9. I also had PPF and Ceramic Coating installed this week. It's been a busy few days but she looks awesome now!

Took off "body armor" running boards in prep for sliders and finally picked off the off road stickers. I will never understand why they put a 18 inch sticker on a 5 foot bed. Use the citrus smelling 3m adhesive remover # 03618, they make another auto one that is ok but not quite as effective. If you keep using a fresh area of cloth the goo will come off quicker. Used to take bumper stickers off alot when I detailed...

You should check your ticket. They probably didn’t change it. If they are like the dealers around here, they won’t change it for free until 10,000 miles. That’s what the maintenance schedule calls for.
