Nice! Maybe 33's and a Billy 5100 2" lift will let me play sometime.

There was plenty I could have done stock, I would have done more if I'd had sliders, I was mostly concerned with rocker panel damage.

:woot: That's for the pictures Shay!

I didn't notice until I saw the picture, but I've been down that rock ledge before lol.

Yep! Big part will be those tires. Lot's of rocks on the side of the trail that could slash a sidewall on the stockers.

Lol. With the exception of the rear bumper, you'd have done well if you had sliders on.

Yeah man! Went up "the backside". Definitely a more fun route into VOM than going the normal way.

    Quarantine weekend stuff: clean trucks.
Wash, clay, rubbing compound and wax to help with the pinstripes.

Today’s project - spindle gussets. Thanks to @desertjunkie760 for welding up the gussets!

@Titus94, @erice , & @Bcole for the help pulling it apart and putting it back together.
And @LukeCC for the last minute arrival just in time for torque and wheels going back on haha.

Lol. True, I didn’t even think to do a color other than black.

I’m surprised you didn’t say purple

Figured the shell is staying this time, so replaced the third brake light and got that wired up.

Do they rub!? I must know... :alien:

Those tires are LOUD. They are the only tire that I've found that were more loud than my ProComps.

    Lol!

Surprisingly, no. Well... not yet. They’re street approved, but I’m sure they’ll rub when flexed. Gotta get out to test them out.

Yeah they’ll be loud for sure. That’s funny though, I haven’t heard this tire to be THAT loud. Loud yes, but not loudest. Only time will tell, for now they haven’t been bad. Hum more than the RTs for sure.

That's good to hear. It's a start and means you shouldn't need to do too much work if any to make them clear on the dirt.

I'm certain there are louder tires on the market. I've got limited experience compared to vast majority of tires out there. The Toyo M/Ts have been at the top of the street noise for me thus far but there are too many variables to assume your experience the same. Great tire though no doubt!

Yep! Worst case, they’ll move the plastic out of the way haha.
But I’ll see what scuffs appear for more trimming.

Yeah I’m anxious to see how they do! Excited to give these tires a try.

Some of my favorite tires. SO heavy though. They aren’t too loud thought.
