I have the castaway look going right now - I'm usually buzzed and clean shaven/short beard (sometimes a winter beard). Right now I'm scraggly.

Once the crappy restaurant up the road at work opens and we can eat lunch at the restaurant. That day I'm going home to buzzers and a straight razor.

First check this morning I was trending down but this is a positive thing to see pop up.

They’ve been dumping milk for years, killing chickens and hogs won’t have long term impacts, they are easily replaced. If oil was a limitless resource they’d be dumping that too and the oil prices never would have dropped anywhere near what they did.

I would still make a strong argument that major cruise lines are a good investment.

Very likely a good return eventually. But there’s a decent chance they have very limited operations into next year. So people who want their money out in the next 6 months, there are probably many better options.

I agree, I just assumed that people in here tend to go longer term (two or more years) as I’m trying to do.

usually my strategy, but when it drops like this I like to find a few that can be flipped in 3-6 months. Not everyday you can a good 10% or 20% return (or more) so quickly.

You should really look into options. Of course, you can also loose 20% a day pretty easily. lol

Looking into moving some money in towards airlines, what do you guys think? My initial thought was that it is an industry that would always be around. Also thinking more long term with something like that but I’m not %100 sure.

Ive dabbled, but really if it doesn’t flip quick I’ll just hold it. What I’m trying to do is maintain buying power in the event we have a new bottom.

UAL/DAL/AAL are your safer options I would think. Keep in mind, gubment cares if BA goes under - they're tightly integrated to a lot of stuff. AAL, DAL, etc they don't care if they go bust and get bought out by another airline.

I’m also torn on airlines, I definitely wouldn’t invest in American Airlines simply based on my opinion of them (poor service from my experience and they’re not well liked) but Alaskan or Southwest I would be fairly comfortable, I’m not sure about United.
Air travel is an interesting market, the major American Airlines aren’t well liked (in my experience) and they’re a very volatile investment.
