So my buddy and I brought our trucks to the windmills, where the roads are dirt but a subaru can drive on just fine. An this one road leads to a beach, it’s pretty crazy with its rivets and mud, but made it through just fine in 4wheel. Although since than the engines been making a ticking noise, and it seems my front suspension grunts now, on any bump, or if I back up and stop, it will grunt upon the stop.. is there anything I seriously need to worry about?

    #1 check your oil
#2 get under the truck and take a look
Where exactly is the noise coming from ? Are you lifted and what lift do you have ?

My oil is fine, I actually just checked to be sure, between the two dots on the dipstick. And it’s a rough country 2 inch front leveling kit. But no I have thought about getting under and trying to see for myself - it’s inside my garage right now - I’m debating if I need too
