I think they’ve been delaying opening. I know south of there they opened some gates then went back and closed them.

Feels good to work through the frustrations and finish a project. Got my MESO overhead switch panel wired up and installed. Wired in a hidden kill switch before the panel and wired the panel so the locker switch doesn't get power unless my compressor switch is throwing power to my compressor. Got unique colors for each switch to relay to accessory. All lined up to install my compressor and also my aux fuse panel.

I like the idea of wiring the switches so the compressor has to be running for the locker to work.

Hahaha the back holes are dimpled for strength. I think fronts are more aesthetic than anything. Some people say cooling but I never had any problems with cooling on my last set of skids.
The holes kind of concerned me but of all the people running these, I couldn't find an instance of when they had something make it through one of the holes.

IIRC, @theesotericone is running these with no problems too.

I have the old style Savage skids that have no dimples. They are beyond bomber. Some of you have seen what I put my rig through and in 3 years I've only had to take a sledge hammer to those skids once. I posted about the new design on another site. Basically I've got no reason to think it will be as strong as the old dimpleless design but I'm waiting for someone to actual wheel hard trails before I make a judgement about Roy's decision. He's a smart dude and I'm sure he's got his reasons for the design change.

My old skids were 1/8". I'm sure you can guess how those turned out after a few years of wheeling.
I'm sure these will fair better than those did.

Just made a test fit... Haven't done any wiring yet. But this should fix the coms problems (with @Pella and @Don5352) I was having this weekend. Big upgrade from the Baofeng handheld.
