I have a 2010 AC and a 80lb Black Lab. The truck has a cap so although I was going to build a platform in the back seats (small) I just let the dog ride in the bed. We never go far and I've had 4 dogs in the bed and my son (6'1" and his smaller girl friend) in the back seats, just for 10 minutes to the creek and back, no problems.

2011 Access Cab 4x4

I have an 80lb Akita and 2 13lb Yorkies.
My truck is 2011 access cab.
When dogs are going the back seat bottoms and console come out. I made a platform that goes in giving as much room as possible for them. Not perfect, but not horrible.
