I was test fitting my new fuel hostage wheels today and noticed that the wheels studs only go about 3/4" through the lug nut when tight. I'm pretty sure they are the correct lug nuts for the wheels. Is this okay?

That's how my buddys 4runner was. With his new wheels, his lugnuts didn't even poke all the way through. It's holding up fine though.

EDIT: I meant his lugs didn't even poke through his lugnuts. Whoops!

I got a set of tapered lug nuts with my Pacer Wheels. They have a longer insert that fits inside the stud hole in the rim so they grip more of the threads on the stud.

You need to get some "ET" or extended thread lug nuts. The studs on these trucks are too short

I think this is what I'm going to do. In trying to contact my wheel provider to argue they should have provided them to me.

Uhhh and the wtf moment of the day is now. Why the fuck are these studs too small for t4r wheels with My SR??!?!?!? Fuck I’m so annoyed, this is why SCS makes such a great wheel. Should’ve never strayed

those lug holes don't look tapered; they look flat. So if you use stock Tacoma lugnuts, then they should sit inside the lug holes and grab the studs.
