    I was thinking of keeping this for about a year and then trading it in, so I may not do much. I’m trying to rebuild my credit, but figured I should do it having fun in a Tacoma.

    It was 21899, they advertised 27689 for it. While I am great full for the price, I don’t think that’s a crazy leap of a discount. Plus they probably bought it for what? 24k maybe 25k?

    Ya still calling BS, they aren't going to take a $4k loss on a trade and give it to you for less than $10k KBB and 25% off their advertised price, even if you are a friend, they'd get more at auction for it. But people claim outrageous things all the time on the interwebs. Could have got you another way too, trade, finance, etc. Either way congrats on the your franken truck and what do I know maybe you did just get the deal of a lifetime.
