Is the Gen 3 air conditioning as bad as Gen 2

Some 2016 – 2020 model year Tacoma vehicles may exhibit a condition where the air conditioning system shuts down and stops blowing cool air during periods of extended engine idle with ambient temperatures greater than 100°F. Follow the Repair Procedure in the bulletin to address this condition.

 

I had a '16 Access Cab, had the kazoo screech too lol.

Not a peep from my 19 DCSB, I guess they fixed it!

Carbon and ceramic window tint on every piece of glass makes the A/C work much less. Mine will blow frost sometimes, it gets absurdly cold.

 

My 2016 had the kazoo in a crosswind it drove me mad, there was a TSB for much thicker door seals and that has solved the problem for me. Maybe they fixed it on the newer 3rd gens

 

it work really good for me and I live in AZ , I do have Ceramic tint it cost more but in AZ you need it.
