    Hi All,

Before y'all make a comment about how DCSB are stupid, just leave it to yourself. I was in the market for a Tacoma in Colorado, and let me tell you, beggars can't be choosers. Of course I wanted a long bed, but I found a Tacoma at a good price with low mileage so I had to take what I could get.

Anyways, I do a ton of camping and am looking to setup my truck bed as an alternate place to sleep. Anyone here have a DCSB that they sleep in? I don't have the tools to build a platform, so I'm wondering if anyone has one they might be interested in selling, or really anyone that has any advice. I also just think having a platform with drawers would be nice overall.

    Thanks y'all!

    Dylan

As far as building your platform is concerned. Here are some ideas from that link above. Home Depot or Lowe’s can make these cuts for you. Use 2x6’s in the bed liner cut outs that go side to side in the bed. Have two sheets of 1/2” plywood ripped long ways in the bed. If you really don’t have tools you can do a semi BS job and spray adhesive on the wood and lay down a cheap outdoor carpet and trim it with scissors. I’d recommend stapling it. Now if your 6’ or shorter there is a chance you can sleep in the bed diagonal with a soft topper. If not scratch the platform, buy yourself a truck bed tent, air mattress and good luck.
