Yeah, fab work is on hold at the moment since we just moved. I'll be hiring a general contractor soon though to start building my shop next to my house. Once its done I'll start back up. Planning to build a 30x40 shop with a lift and all that fun stuff. Should make for a good space to work.

Yep! Its been a busy year so far. Lots of good stuff though. Only crappy part about the move was packing up the garage and moving in to a smaller garage for the time being. It'll be worth it though in the long run though, found some property that will easily accept a large shop building not even a mile from where me and the wife used to live.

Thought about it, but selling next year so probably not worth the hassle for such a short time.

We're going to a 15 year and the interest rate is going down by 1.75% to 3.125. We'll save about 60 grand when it's all said and done. That's a sick resto-mod TransAm right there!

Haha that’s a hell of a deal! I was already a short term loan and good rate so my dad and I weighed some of the options and it wasn’t worth it. If I wasn’t selling next year I would

You don't think the market will drop here soon? What's your plan for next year?

Nope. Housing market is still hot af. Houses around me selling in less than 2 days for like 20k more than they would have 2 years ago. I can’t say too much on TW because of rules, but if nothing changes in a certain position of office then everything will bounce back and housing will still be hot. My plan is to finish remodeling in 2020, get married in January, then sell this house and move to a more forever home.

I paid 204k for my house less than 2 years ago. A house in my cul-de-sac just sold for 260k 2 months ago.

that house is smaller, and less land, also the land isn’t flat or usable as mine. That means I have huge ability for upgrades and still stay within my market without pricing my house out the neighborhood.

That house is definitely nicer on inside than mine, but my house is the only house that’s all brick on front, sides, and back I’ve noticed in my neighborhood. That was huge selling point to me. I hate how houses are built with only brick fronts.

Yep you’ll sit nicely like me when you sell. Got mine for 136k. Houses are selling for 240-260k every week that are comparable.

Bought mine last year paid 117,000. Once the new benz plants that are 2.5 miles away open up my property value that was just over 5k an acre will go up over 15k an acre, might even hit as much as 25k. Ill be sitting pretty once that happens. Ill refinance and build me a shop :D

I hear ya! All we'll have left is the house as soon as the payment goes thru on my Wife's 4Runner! 44,264 in 17 months paid off. That was credit cards and the 4Runner.
