That’s good to hear and what I would hope. I figure I need to protect my FICs.

when installing the new fuel pump/sock. Aside from stock fuel pump Anything else needed to remove or add?

sounds like I need to get an external filter.

There is. You have to scan through the gauges modes and it will say ACAL and it'll show the digital gauge portion of it sweeping upwards until it is done. Remember the sensor has to be outside of the exhaust in order to free air cal accurately.

I have the same model as him, No free air calibration that I'm aware of on this model. I looked paperwork over pretty hard a year or so ago when I installed it.

Thanks for the video. I did the tests and it behaves normally except after starting it up it just stays reading lean. Dont think its the o2 sensor though bc it works perfect when i plug in my other AFR gauge

Shit bolted onto other shit, and junk.
Just a thought, but have swapped the gauge to your other setup to see if it reads the same? I know you said you pulled a known working gauge to confirm the O2 sensor, but have you tried putting this gauge where that (good) one came from to check on that vehicle?

I have eliminated wiring as a possible cause by leaving the new wiring in place and using an old gauge and o2 sensor that i know works. At least i think that makes sense that that rules it out..

worked perfect when i did this

Ah shoot. Then maybe you do indeed have a defective one. The X series has that option. Neverminddd...

Adding on another relocate job. @Toynado had some random part. we had no idea what it was from but posed a nice option for the relocate. Did some test fits then cleaned it up and painted it. perfect clearance behind a warm 12k winch and Pelfrey bumper.

Going to reassemble the pulley's and belts today hopefully. What did you guys do to tighten up the crank bolt? hold the pulley/belts tight while giving the juice with a impact? i want to make sure I dont run into any other problems like the crank bolt fiasco.

i just went wide open on the air impact and electrical. No thread lock but this is what I did when I put on the SC and it was hell to get off. I keep telling myself to order the holder off Amazon but I always feel like I have better things to spend 50-60 bucks on.
