    Hey guys,

I came here to see some of your current setups and get some advice.

let’s talk about bumpers and approach angles.

i have a 2013 Tacoma extracab shortbed on a stage 4 icon kit. I will be putting sliders on and a cab mount chop next week to run 35’s

As I’m looking at bumpers, I’m having a hard time between a few things, first of all, approach angles.
With these trucks lifted, how necessary is it to actually have to cut the rear quarter or panels? Is it more to offer a bumper that protects coming down on them, or because you do infact scrape rear bumper going up things?

secondly, I’m torn between front bumpers.

i really like the C4 Fabrications low pro bumper. It allows me to keep my light at and have the functionality of a winch, however my front corners of my bumper stay stock. I think it looks really clean though.

Or do those front corners tend to be a problem where a full size bumper with a bit more clearance is needed up front?

i figured this would be the place to ask.

I’m already at 3” of lift before adding 35’s so I’m curious if I’ll be y’all enough where the corners and approach angles may not be a worry at that point? Any advice input or pics of setups would be rad! Even comparable products!
