big dog is a xoloitzquintle (Mexican hairless) and the little one is an American hairless terrier.

 

32 here. I ended up with a softtopper. I needed something to keep personal camping gear, materials, Boy Scout gear, and my dags covered at times. However I also move around a lot of large crap and needed to be able to drop it and open up head space on short notice.

For the price, I love the thing. It doesn't provide the most security, and weather resistance is "ok" (actually it's not bad, I can go through I drive through wash with very little water intrusion). I've slept in it, hauled with it, and most things in between. I wouldn't change it.

Now I've got a chinesey roof rack to be part of the cool kid club!

Amazon. I'm so damn glad I did this. Highly recommended tying them into the bed lights, too easy. The rock lights are wired in parallel. The OEM bed lights are not, the (-) of the 2nd light must go to ground. (At least for me, couldn't make it work otherwise)

I threw in the towel and cancelled the order.

 

Good luck with UPS. They are bastards to deal with when it comes to warranty claims. I'm still waiting over 4 weeks for them to even address my claim for damaging a package with cross bars in it and loosing most of the "T" slot fasteners.

I received a surprisingly nice email from them yesterday that said because it's an Amazon shipment that Amazon wants to deal directly with me regarding issues.

Back in the Amazon chat this morning, because I ordered the steps from Amazon Warehouse, they can't send a replacement so the order was cancelled.

I just hope the bastard in Sioux Falls that has my steps is enjoying them.
