Fitting 35’s with minimal trimming NOW ADDING LONG TRAVEL AND 934 CV’s

Yeah, that's exactly my worry. Getting brained by my own cage in a traffic accident would suck.

 

I believe that was Tommy at TT Motorsports. He was put in a medically induced coma for a while but is starting to do better.

 

Excuse the ignorance but uniballs at the pivots? Seen bushing of course and understand heims but how does a uniball work there? or are you talking at the spindle

 

Misalignment spacers and magic. The main difference between a unibal and a heim joint is the threaded rod end in the heim. Both are a spherical bearing in a race.

 

Gotcha. Imagine it would be harder to keep somewhat quiet

heim UCA option for the LT kit? Definitely something I may be interested in for the future.

 

Uniballs, no heims

 

It will make a little more noise than delrin bushings, but the LCA inner pivot doesn't move very much, so it won't make the uniball squeak like a unibal UCA does.

 

This is why we also have an OEM bushing option... for those that don’t want any noise

 

We are trying to get ahold of a 3rd gen so everything can be test fit before I can say it will work 100%

 

Awaiting the answer. Even if this isn't something that gets sorted out before group buy I'm in.


Is this something that can be bolted in with the rack already in or does the rack have to come out to do it

 

So here is the solution to keeping the uniballs free of mud, road salt, grit etc.

We had custom misalignment spacers made that allow axle seals to be pressed on so nothing can get to the uniballs

 

now THAT is an idea!!!

Its a loosing battle no matter what you do. Just chalk it up to extra maintenance and sooner replacements.
