These are all stainless steel pots and pans. So not non-stick but they are great so far. I’ve only heated one thing up in them so far lol

    I’ve been grilling more lately.

I've made this recipe before but never had real shawarma... Try this out and see if it's even close to what you remember? It's pretty tasty either way!

Middle Eastern street meat actually on the street is amazing. So many flavors; some subtle, some not. I've had restaurant shawarma and street sandwich-style (similar to a gyro), and the sandwich style crushes it. Chicken, thin pickle slices, spiced mayo, and two long french fries surrounded by the softest flatbread. Oh lawd.

The only thing I've had even close was in Cozumel... Pork tacos made on a vertical spit like that.. just the pork and some raw onions on a freshly made tortilla... Those things were amazing!

Shredded. Will broil to crisp before serving in a few hours.

Seasoning is a little lighter than normal because I normally do around 2.5-3 lbs and this batch was just under 5 lbs. I think it’s a little over seasoned at 3, but under at 5.. so next time will experiment more.

Along similar lines. Spring time is when I make my supply of Mexican red sauce. I blew my kitchen up this afternoon. Wow. Splatters everywhere. My shirt is toast. I’m still finding seeds in strange places.
