Interesting. @OVTune I got it second hand and there was only the usb Cable and OBD2 to OFT cable. Does this chain them thus allowing a computer to communicate with the ECU or am I missing some parts?

 

Anyone else getting an immediate upshift when they take a hard turn? I have ECT on so it shouldn't shift early.

 

Not me. Mine accelerates beautiful out of hard corners

 

I don't understand how it's able to shift at less than 1500 RPM's when I take a turn with with ECT enabled. With ECT on, shift points are like 2000+ RPM minimum to shift.

 

@OVTune any word on the rest of the Vf keys? Would be great to have access if the software releases tomorrow!

 

How much throttle are you giving it going around a hard turn when this happens or are you letting off the throttle?
If you are letting off the the throttle, that could cause an upshift regardless if making a hard turn or not.

 

Release information for tomorrow:
- all pending vF Tuner keys will be sent tomorrow
- as many as possible sys I'd keys as well

Release will be in stages, to ensure its not a confusing frenzy.

Release tomorrow will include :
ECUs 04B00 01, 02, 03, 04 stock ECUs
Release will also include tune packs for vF (excluding 04B00 and 04B01)
Tune pack will include 1.05 version tunes

Saturday release will be for 2018 ECUs
Sunday for 2019 ECUs
Monday for 2020 ECUs

MT version ECUs will follow the same

With included tune packs (2.0 beta current for for 19-20)


For folks without vF Tuner and have 04B81 ECU who need tunes
Tune links will be available in about 1 hour

Based on 04B04 latest 2.0 test (with revisions discussed for cold start, etc)

 

Try driving it hard like coming into a turn keep bumping it back like to 4th, 3rd, and into second without even needing to use the brake and half way through your turn hit the pedal hard And when you hit 6k rpms bump it up and so on. I don’t think you’ll have any up shifts like that. Only way I drive mine and just replaced my 1st set of brakes at 99000 miles Over the weekend and rotors were good still !
