Is everyone staying sane here? Glad to still be working but that's about the only place I go besides King Soopers for food and Costco for gas.

I filled up my car yesterday for $1.16 a gallon! Whopping $9.30 for the tank. Truck would have still only been like 20 bucks.

 

Made my first trip to Lowes (in the Arapahoe Co. part of Aurora) today since this mess went down. Arapahoe's stay-at-home was extended to 8 May, but the Lowes looked like a normal, warm spring day... busy! I only ventured into the gardening section to grab some perennials for the front flower bed. Someone did something to kill off all the lavender plants (pruned them in the spring last year versus the fall; should have Googled that before doing it), so the front of the bed was bare... until today.

It was interesting to note others' behavior. Most had masks on... some didn't care about social distancing, and then there was the nagging spouse loudly chastising their partner to make more of an effort to stay six feet away from others. When passing in close proximity, some were "whatever" about it and moved along like normal folk, and some raced by like I was infected.

I'll be moving from Savannah, GA to Fort Carson, CO in the next few months. My wife and I are from Colorado originally but haven't been there in a few years.

How has Colorado changed in the last 5 years or so?

Traffic always sucked when we live there in 2011-2013....Colorado Springs anyway.

I feel like Colorado has become a pseudo California lately.

Ya I’m in Denver the traffic is even worse!!
The traffic for the last month though was like living here in the nineties except for the speed racers

 

I went out yesterday to do some dispersed camping at designated sites and it's crazy how idiotic people are.

I just watched 2 sets of people drive through our camp site and over 100 yards into undisturbed vegetation.

USFS came by and is not happy

Maybe,but I still wouldn’t want to live in any other state..

 

I got sick of Wyoming and Montana. No jobs, no opportunities. This place kicks ass.

 

Yeah, it has been seven years since we've lived there.

Texas and Georgia in that time. Looking forward to the mountains and all.

 

Texas is all right. I lived there from 12 to 18 years old and came back for college after the Army.
