I'm looking at ordering a few OEM toyota parts for the new truck and was wondering if you had a go to website or whatever.

Seems like there should be some good discounts out there somewhere if you are ordering a couple thousand bucks of parts. Any recommendations?

Local Toyota dealer. I search online for the best deal on the part, from other online Toyota dealers or vendors, and go to the parts counter and they have always price matched and do not charge me shipping.

That's a great idea, I'll give the local toyota shop a call.

I'm coming from the BMW world where there is a wink wink parts deals where you shoot an email over with the part numbers you want, they call you for a CC# and you get them at cost +7%. Its a great deal as long as you don't take up any of the parts counter's time. Local BMW dealers mark parts up 2x-3x usually to pay for those giant latte showrooms and other useless stuff so the parts counter isn't even worth visiting.

In the BMW world you avoid the stealership at all costs.

Against popular opinion, cheaper isn't always best.
I purchased some aftermarket body parts (bumpers/grill etc) on Amazon, what a disaster that was. See a couple example photos. Ended up returning them and buying OEM, which worked great.

Unpainted fender flares, mud flaps, that cubby hole on the driver's left, a bed mat, and idk maybe the short fender trim behind the flares if I can find the part numbers.

I was shopping for some used unpainted fender flares and found some for $400, but I would have to drive 5 hours round trip to get them and honestly its just easier to order new ones at this point as its only another $200.

You can always source the part numbers then throw them up on the internet and see what you hit for prices. Sometimes this way you stumble on someone getting rid of something for less. Sometimes you can find the parts you are looking for used and in great shape for next to nothing. The bed mats are indestructible and if you can find one used you can save some money.

Yeah, its pretty much a wash at this point. Right now I'm trying to figure out if the older rear fender flares are any different from the new ones?

    75873-04900 $141.17
    75874-04900 $141.17

    7587304090 $173.72
    7587404090 $173.72

Not sure if there is any difference at all, but they changed the part number and the price went up $30 each.

Probably because so many people want them.
