I had ordered something and had it delivered to work, but I forgot about it since it was a couple months ago.

Our shipping guy comes in my office with a weird look on his face and a package from the Ukraine yesterday, and there was some explaining to do.

It was a pair of pants btw.

I used to order items and have them delivered to work until someone shipped the item in an old Federal ammunition box. It definitely raised some eyebrows at work. I think it was some motorcycle part but caused a stir because of the box.

Anyone have any sunglasses they love for trail riding? Looking for frame and/or lens recommendations. I ride more forested areas than open exposed areas so something that can handle darker terrain. Fogging has always been an issue for me too. I've spent the last few years with no eye protection other than cheap sunglasses on sun exposed rides. Tired of mud and bugs in the eyes.

Anything with Oakley Prizm Trail lenses. They're expensive but I can literally ride them in light ranging from the sunniest of days to sunset. They're great at picking out all the different shades of greens and browns

Top of my list. In fact just ordered some to try. Have you tried the Prizm Trail Torch lens? Seems quite similar on paper. I'm planning on ordering a few until I find a frame I like. Started with the Field Jacket with Trail Torch lens.

PSA: Oakley has everything 30% off right now.

I have not. I saw they were really similar and didn't think it was worth the switch for me. I know they're a little darker but I don't think my current lenses allow too much light in.

Yeah I started to wonder if they are phasing out the normal trail because they are so close. Their site isn't allowing me to filter to just frames with Prizm Trail lenses so it's a bit tedious to find them. I liked the idea of the anti fog feature in the Field Jacket and they only offer it in Trail Torch right now so that's what I ordered. Had both been available I would have gone normal Trail I think. The VLT is like 35% vs 36% so on paper one shouldn't be noticeably darker but reviewers tend to indicate otherwise.

Man, I’ve been there. At least you didn’t have it half full and start drinking it. We had a guy down here that got “food poisoning” from the Mexican food he ate after a ride. Then he got food poisoning again from a subsequent ride where he avoided the Mexican place. Turns out....(you know where this is going).

New to the bike scene. Does anyone bike with both earbuds on? Should I even listen to music while I ride?

I put a budget stem on my shitty bike. Figure if I do some budget upgrades like I’ve seen some do on YouTube then I’ll have a decent little hardtail to play on sometimes.

The items I’m not sure I can do on a cheap budget are dropper post and hydraulic brakes though...but maybe...

Have a picture of your wheels, chain and seat stay, and fork? Easiest way is to see whether or not you have mounts for them

Looks like you have mechanical disc brakes already. So everything should line up (except maybe rotors)

I don’t knot that they will. As previously mentioned, if you’re running disc of any kind there’s a good chance they’ll work for you. The rotors are 6 bolt. I’ll have to measure the hoses, but if your frame is external routed they’ll prolly have plenty of length.

If your frame uses a 31.6 post, I may have a dropper or two I might be willing to let go.
