do not rhinoline the frame.. when the coating starts to flake you'll end up rotting the frame faster than uncoated... the sliders? rhino line

Nope, bed and bumper. We've decided to put a flat bed on it and let it eat..lol. We don't use it much. More sentimental than anything,

Shitty, but we don't really have rust issues here in WA since we don't get snow often in the lowlands and/or use salt. I just rattle canned my rock sliders since rhino liner won't really hold up to getting bashed against boulders. Might help against the trees in the tight trails we have here.

Wait, if it’s just the hangers take the check for the full frame R&R and have a shop install some dever springs and archive hangers and shackles. Hell with what your insurance is going to pay for the frame R&R you can probably just go full LT for freeeee.

Spray on bed liner in a can from any auto parts store. Just touch them up every so often. Had mine on for 3+ years and nothing wrong with them.

    Lots, straight from the factory.
Oh yeah, the outdoors... So river fishing for salmon is great, but it sucks. It rains, when it’s not raining, it’s drizzling, when it’s not drizzling or raining it’s misting. If by some fucking miracle it’s not precipitating, it’s still overcast and cold. I will give credit where it is due. From July to mid September it can be pretty amazing and great. The sun shines and it’s warm out. Aside of those two and a half months, it’s miserable.

So yeah, going outside in western Washington is like this:

What a great day we have planned. Should be an amazing hike.
Two hundred feet from the car: Okay I’m soaked from the waist down. Fuck all these goddamn ferns. This sucks. Let’s go home.

After living in Washington for ten years:
PST:Hey, want to go on a hike?
BC:Sure, give me a second. (Gathers up a bucket of water, and picks a fern branch from the yard)
PST: (waiting patiently with a big smile, humming the tune “singing in the rain”.
BC: (Comes back and throws a bucket of water on PST and whips him across the face with a fern branch multiple times then says: (Now that we got that shit out of the way, let’s have a beer and revisit that stupid idea in August when it is dry....

Oh man, I still dont know enough about offroading or what I want from my rig to make that leap. From what I read you gain travel but lose departure angles? I dont know, but I'm not trying to go rock crawling just yet. Not with this truck. I Just want a capable O.R. rig that gets me in the mts and let's me play in Moab, Wyoming, Washington but can still ride the highways in between.

They will improve street feel as well as off roading capability. Zero downside. If you decide to eventually move your spare out from under the truck you can get a cross-bar too. In all reality, if you took the check for a full frame R&R and had a shop do hangers and shackles (assuming that’s is all that is wrong) you’ll end up with a ton of cash in your pocket.
