Go back just to make them aware of it and remind them their tech's need to be careful with customer vehicles...some things are expensive. You could also ask them if there is something their detail guy or body shop could do to touch them up. What do you have to loose?

This is true and shouldnt really be a big of a deal- plus it’s more hidden

But this is bullshit. When you have less than 5k and no scratches but you leave with scratches/chips in multiple (5-10) spots per wheel on all 4 wheels then hell yea I’m going to say something! that shit is just unacceptable period and yes they did replace all 4 wheels

it’s different if you’ve already put the 1st scratch/dent in your truck but not when your paying someone to do it on one that’s flawless (factory flawless)

edit: and no I wasn’t a dick about it, I understand shit happens (even though i also know “shit doesn’t just happen” multiple times on all wheels, that’s careless) but I did make it perfectly clear My thoughts of the carelessness and the remedy I was expecting.

Excuse the dirty rim but wednesday 4/29/2020 i took my truck in for the 20,000 mile service which was an oil change and tire rotation. I got home and check my engine bay to see if everything was ok and it was but as soon as i tried closing the hood, it wasnt closing right. I didnt think about too much because i hardly open the hood lol so i just let it be. Friday 5/1/2020 i took it back for the tire rotation because they werent able to do it that day because i forgot the bolt for the XD rims that i have and so i took it and got home to this (Pic) yes they scratched my rim! Now i could say its my fault because i forgot to give them the Allen wrench but then again they could of asked me for it. Anyway i plan to take it back in and see what they say. What do you guys think???

It's a truck man, it's gonna get scratched. You want a perfect vehicle, then you do your own work on it. FWIW, I've got tiny little scratches in the lug sockets too. Whoopdie doo.

However, dropping it off at the dealership and expecting wheels to be taken care of is a mistake. You'll be lucky to get your vehicle back with all the nuts and bolts you originally dropped it off with. Dealership techs are overworked and underpaid so if someone thinks that they are going to carefully take a thin wall socket with a breaker bar and carefully remove each nut and then carefully lower the wheel, they are wrong. They are going to shove that impact in there with a shaking hand as fast as possible, drop the wheel, and bounce it over to the next corner. BTW OP's wheels definitely look like they were hit with an impact, removal and/or installation.

That being said, there are shops out there that will take care of your wheels, carefully remove each nut, and remount them just as carefully and even wipe them off with a microfiber towel after so they don't leave marks from handling them. Those shops will charge a premium though.

Nothing wrong with taking care of your wheels but it's kind of like specifically ordering a burger without pickles at Mcdonalds and then getting upset when they throw pickles on. Get mad, write a bad review, go inside and get another burger without pickles, scream about how it's about the principle of good work ethic and you're paying for a service. But what did you expect from a business that overworks and underpays it's workers while trying to pump as much money as they can from you? They'll throw some stuff at you till you leave but business will go back to usual.

If you want someone to work more and do it to a higher standard, you're going to have to search for a place and pay more for it. A dealership is not that kind of place.
