I tried to roll down my back drivers side window from my driver controls. The window would not go down. From there I tried from the back drivers side power window button in the back and it went down but will not go back up. Now it is stuck a couple inches down. I can't pull it up by hand and I can't hear the motor moving at all when I use the button.

I am about to leave on a 9 hour drive so it is less than ideal but not the end of the world.

Any thoughts on the problem or a quick fix?

I had this happen as well. A couple weeks ago, fortunately I was able to get the window up with the drivers controls a day later after trying multiple times. Not sure where the issue is, haven’t used the window since.

The rear door panel switches are the same, side to side. Try swapping in the passenger side switch. Some people have had St. Bernard's drooling in the switch.

Try tapping on the control switch. My 2000 had dirty contacts in the switch controls. You can clean them. But i just replaced the switch

This happened to me recently on the exact same window. Turns out the switch was bad. Pop the panel off and change it with the other door switch.

if not a switch, try banging on the window motor, kinda like when a fan motor or fuel pump goes bad, the vibration some times is enough for the brushes to make contact and give it a little more life.
did this yesterday on a 2000 olds, pass window not working, gave it a few smacks it started working so I ordered a motor for it.
