I was going stir crazy after being inside so I grabbed the GF and we camped and drove thru Death Valley last weekend. Awesome trip. Only downside was some damage to a bead lock ring on a rear rim.
Anyone know a good source for a replacement (16")? I've seen prices from $129 at the dealership (ouch) to some $15 knock off on ebay that appear to come pre-scratched. Any info is appreciated

Other than that it's a great time to roam DV. Only saw two other vehicles in two days and temperatures were a pleasant 77 deg.

Camped at the Eureka Valley dunes the 1st night. Had the whole place to ourselves.

At the Racetrack with the Grandstand in the background. Again, no one else there.

Your area should have a wheel repair place and they could fix it up for much less.

    Beautiful pics, man.

Sorry about the wheel. Leave it for a few weeks and you'll forget about it.

Welcome to the club :D If you're that worried about it you could try filing and sanding it down just to make it less noticeable.

Here's the cheapest OEM I could find. $85+shipping. I use these guys for all my parts.

You'll want to take an angle grinder to that spot though, maybe a dremel. From that angle it looks like you won't be able to undo that screw with the metal pushed in the way so you'll need to clean it up first.

Thank you for all your suggestions. I may just try to sand or dremel it down. Stay healthy everyone!

True, but like stun pointed out, you're gonna just adding up the small chips, dents, scratches and more. It looks small, so unless you really want to replace it or are able to be overly cautious, i'd leave it

Mine are looking rough. I'm gunna sand em down fill them with some Bondo brand "plastic metal" that comes in a tube.
Plan is to paint them with some rubberized bed liner and see how they last.. they have a lot of rock rash that's been kicked up from mobbing down FSR's.. here goes..
