The water flows through the anthracite mines and will forever. The Susquehanna river broke through the roof of the mines and flooded them. Wherever the water comes out, it is orange. Supposedly it is only iron oxide. There are also boreholes into the mines where chemicals are illegally dumped into the mines. Look up the Butler Mine Tunnel. When there was a heavy storm all of shit came flowing out into the river. The EPA believe that between 1.5 and 2.7 million gallons of hazardous waste were dumped. Imagine how much they don’t know about. 66,000 gallons of cyanide were also dumped.

Not all of it. I was a little over ambitious so I've got more work in the morning.

Yikes, probably. What plant are they on? We bought a bunch of fruit trees and one day ended up with 2 of them (only the 2) fucking covered in caterpillars. The trees never recovered and later died.

Depending on what they're on and how big they are will decide the method of destruction. Neem oil works for some but it's hit and miss for me.

Hoping the spring shed for all the Elms around us is almost over. Love the privacy from the trees but for a couple weeks this time of year and again in the fall I would love to cut them all down. They line the back fence between the bush next to the slide and the next door neighbor.

ah okay so not a big deal. Honestly I'd just go out and pick them all off and use something like seven dust that @buckhuntin-tacoma recommended or a general insecticide. Just make sure that it's food safe after use. I have an insecticide I use around everything but not on anything (also an option) but if you have any outdoor cats I wouldn't recommend it since its toxic till it's dry.
