How to attach bed racks?

    How are y'all attaching your bed racks? I have a headache rack coming in and it requires drilling. Are you cutting away the plastic rail top strip? I would think so, but dunno. Are you riv-nutting them in place? If I could figure out how the "no drill" solutions offered on some headache racks work then I could drill & bolt it in place with aluminum backer plates under the rails, but the composite bed doesn't seem to allow that.
