I ha e a charged taco with 35s and 5.29s and it's epic. I wouldn't want 4.88s. soon as I started tearing up hills like long dirt mountain passes I knew that the 5.29a weren't enough. Blower solved that problem.

Granted I like going fast, perhaps faster than most, so power uphill is important.

I have 4:88's in my truck, and with BFG 255/85R16's averaging 70 MPH, I get 16 MPG.
When I was doing my rear gear break in and averaging 55 MPH, I was getting 20 MPG.
And my truck is a fatty!

I need all the clips that hold the flares back on an XCab. I havent looked but I'm sure they're obscenely expensive through the dealer. Is there somewhere else to get them? I dont have the old ones so I dont know what style they are and if they're all the same or different. Can anyone help me out?

I got them while Toytec was having their 10% off sale in April so I paid around $1150 shipped. They were like $1280ish before discount. Their website shows 2-3" of lift for the coilovers. I'll just be adjusting them to match my Dakar leaf pack.

Not me (I’m a 3rd gen guy) but my son got motivated when I slapped a Statler Toyota decal on his 04 extra cab trd last week. He bought a roll bar for a great price -but unfortunately it was not for a 1st gen. So he modified it. Then front and rear tube bumpers from a Jeep, which he got a great price on but they also needed modified. He did it all over about a week.

Thank you. He got a great deal on the parts ($120 total; $20 for the roll bar and $50 each for the front and rear bumpers). The rest was all his effort (cutting, grinding, welding, more cutting grinding welding... painting etc. ).

In the recent months, and especially with recent lock down, I’ve upgraded my stereo, had my seatbelts rehabbed, installed a nice ram mount in my oh shit handle, made retrofits, and over the last few days installed 5100’s with ome springs and Dakar AALs, which even with the cap made the truck into a stink bug. Hopefully with some desert runnin and some gear it’ll level out. May have to lift the front... So, not all installed today, but without this giant ship of pirates, none of this would have been possible. Thanks to all!

Made my sliders bolt on, since I’m waiting on some parts anyways. I want to have them on for summer wheeling, but want to change them up and powder coat them. And I like removable. I wouldn’t want to do this with a cab on the frame tho.
