So I went out to my garage yesterday, 3+ hours after driving my 2020 off road. I was hearing something like a small motor running, narrowed it down to my tacoma. In the rear of the truck, I found where the noise was coming from, guessing sending unit or fuel pump? Anyone else having this problem?

Not a problem, its a normal part of the fuel system. It will pull a vacuum every once in a while to check and make sure there are no leaks in the system. Cant recall the exact name of the thing, but there are threads about it on here. :pccoffee: Its near the tank up in the frame rails..

It's not a problem with the truck, they have been doing that on Tacoma's since 2005.

i was freaked out the first time i heard it too. mine does it about 8 hours after driving, what bugs me is how these trucks can just do stuff just sitting there and have been off for hours. guess nowdays you can't turn the truck completely off.

With the computers and now the telemetry, they are always on, the engine just happens to not be running sometimes.

Heard the same thing a few hours after coming home with mine. First place I went to was here and then I looked in my manual. Reading manuals... ain't no one got time for that.

Huh, I turkey hunted Saturday morning and came out of the woods after a couple woods and heard that buzzing sound. That solves that mystery.......lol

I meant "hours" not "woods"......I was rushing for dinner when I typed it out. :)
