Probably decided they were all too small.

“papa- where’s those 75s? These are only mama’s weights.”

Took my buddy out for some fresh air. He’s not a big fan of the leash but hopefully he will get used to it.

He will- we started Otis just a little before 2, and he’s 4 now. Just keep an eye on him and leave slack if you can. If Otis gets amped up he will sometimes try to slip out. Twice he has been able to when the least gets tight. Luckily he just goes and smells stuff so we can get him. Always a moment of panic though.

Before anyone says cats are fine outside- I don’t look down on anyone with outside cats, just not comfortable with them myself. I’ve seen too many get the shit kicked out of them by dogs (in the city) or even coyotes (rural). Just not worth the risk for us. Instead he has bird and squirrel feeders and plenty of other stimulus.

He'll get used to it. Every cat is different so you're time might vary.

Ours only took a few times and she tolerates it pretty well. I have l doubt she'd prefer to not have it, but that's not an option.

My wife and I picked this little fluff ball up yesterday. My other cat is beyond pissed and just walks around growling. We haven’t let them make eye contact yet. So just her smell has my big cat upset.

How about just the opposite. Sleeping on my wife's workout mat. Oh the irony.

I would guess those have been hand reared? Our little guy was just some random wild squirrel. What made him feel like he could trust us? He was a little pissed when I picked him up by the tail. But he never showed any fear. After the feeding he climbed up into my youngest daughter's lap and slept. Some weird trust thing going on there that I've never seen before.

And also....I had no idea squirrels were so damn vocal. Before he went to sleep he was talking non stop.

I believe the first one he started with was a rescue baby squirrel if I remember right.
