2009 Tacoma TRD Sport Double cab 210k+ miles...ISO a dealer who will work on a modded Tacoma in New England, or anywhere within driving distance (we're willing to drive a few hundred miles if that's what it takes..). We have just noticed a bit of frame rot (dime-sized hole), but we have a lift installed so we're concerned about push back. Thanks for any helpful input. Stay well.

Not sure if you got this figured out but Toyota of Nashua did mine a few years back after Harr Toyota screwed me. They are always happy to see a modded truck and even still advertise supercharger installs. And tax free if you rack up a bill. They installed my lift and replaced tons they didn't have to. Like the gas cover some hoses etc. My bill was $0 and they put me in a new trd or while it was gone.

Thanks. I really appreciate it. We’ll give them a call to see what’s what. Worth a shot!

You shouldn’t have an issue with a lift. The process isn’t any different unless it has remote reservoirs.
Each dealer is different but the one I work at in Greenfield, Ma, we swap everything over. Usually theres no charge, unless additional parts are needed to swap stuff over

Even with all the mods and upgrades in the world, if the frame is crap, like they were and recalled they are on the hook to replace. If extra parts are needed they can eat those cost too. Use it as a learning experience. Good lessons often cost time and money. Don't think it'll hurt their bottom line and I'm sure they will pass on any cost to us later. Then again I'm still pissed harr Toyota sprayed my frame without masking, got overspray everywhere, returned it wet(said it was as dry) next day up north they found holes and said it should not have been sprayed and they replaced the frame. So maybe don't go to Harr!

They wouldn’t touch mine since it had over 160k miles on it. You might have a problem with that

We have a 6” pro comp lift kit and installation required the cutting of one the transmission crossmembers, then to weld in a new pro comp bracket for clearance. Have you ever run into a scenario like that? How do you think they might handle it?

Yeah I’d be far more worried about that than the mods
