I am looking for any advice / input on what steps, rails, sliders, etc... for my 2020 Tacoma. I would like something that incorporates a step to accommodate the shorter folks in my family.

Factory Predator steps might be your best option.

Rock sliders don't generally make for great steps. In fact, they can make getting into the truck harder. They have a different purpose.
