Just wondering if the Covid is changing anyone’s hunting plans for this fall. I just applied for MT moose, sheep, and goat and will be applying for AR elk this weekend.

Maybe this will be the year, but hopefully things will be back to normal this fall and nonresidents will be welcome.

I'm applying just like I would any other year. I will have all my Wyoming tags, a Utah archery deer tag, and hopefully luck out with Idaho moose draw haha. Do you live up in Kodiak? That was one of my favorite places to hunt of all time, I'd love to get back up there someday!

Used to. Miss it a lot. I could draw a mnt goat tag almost every year plus always had caribou and moose tags for the mainland, plus lots of great deer hunting.

We hunted sitka's while we was there. Had a few run-ins with bears too haha. Hoping my next trip to Alaska will be moose/caribou

Yep. Bears were a problem. We couldn't even let the kids play out in the yard unsupervised as we usually had a few bear cross the yard every year.

Hoping there will be less people applying for tags this year, but I'm sure it will be about the same as always. Gotta draw a Montana tag before I get too old.

I haven't ever applied for Montana. Usually my Wyo tags have me pretty busy all fall. Hoping as I get more vacation at work I can at least get up there to hunt general deer.

I used to hunt lopes and mule deer in Wyoming a lot. Haven't been there in probably 6 or 7 years though. My profile pic is a Wyoming deer.

Awesome buck! Looks like desert area. That's mostly what I hunt to. I leave the "high country" stuff alone and hunt the ones everyone drives passed haha.

If these meat packing plants shutdown much more my hunting season may start early.

Going to find a spontaneous moose out past his curfew this fall. Past few years' schedule was not cooperative. This year is all about getting it done 2020.

Hopefully the first two weeks of September will be spent in Colorado chasing elk.

    back to bone stock.
we learned last year that our cousin owned a farm in OREGON that was thick with elk. he, well wife just secured us permission on the three adjacent farms as well. my brother and i will be arrowing or rifling elk (tough decision actually) this fall. come hell or highwater.

My plan this fall is to arrow the biggest whitetail of my life. I have the same plans every fall yet it almost never happens.

I didn’t draw my MT goat, sheep, or moose tags, but I’m taking my son and son in law on a scouting trip to the goat area this month. A week of backcountry camping in goat country is almost as good as hunting.

Usually the fam flys in for christmas to get their Utah Powder Skiing fix, but this years gonna be crazy up there so I'm flying back to VA. Looking forward to breaking out the 6.5CM and do a little whitetail hunting again on a private 120 acres with some bruiser bucks on it.

Last time I filled the freezer:

I didn't draw any tags this year, but I still made it into goat country for some scouting. Maybe one of these years it will pay off.
