I just installed the pedal commander in my 2018 Tacoma and all of the ills of the sketchy transmission seem to go away. Only other thing I have done is removed the permanent air filter above the air filter and this thing GOES like a scalded dog! It is truly amazing how quick it feels off the line and is so easy to install. The feeling of having to press hard to cruise the highway is gone and I have only put it on "sport 2" and she is a goer. Just have patience w unplugging original plug cuz it is on there.....just squeeze the tap and wiggle and it will break free, also make sure u hear/ feel the click when u re-plug the new set up. Next is a K&in filter and in the spring a borla exhaust. Peace

I agree the pedal Commander is great but this truck doesn't go anywhere.

Is it weird that I leave mine in Eco mode 90% of the time?

Nothing about this product makes your truck faster. It is slow, and thankfully so given what a terrible platform for speed it would be.

I stuck mine under/behind the dash after I decided where I wanted it set at because I didn’t want to look at it.
