There is a great search function at the top of this page that will bear all kinds of magical fruit should you choose to type "biggest tires trd pro" (or any combination of those words).

Read one of the other bajillion other threads asking the same question and introduce yourself in the new member's section when you get a chance :). P.S.

I'm running 285/75R16 and would NOT go any bigger.

Nothing special about the Pro tire fitment wise. Same as any other Tacoma in your generation.

Tire brand/model is more about how you use the truck. Of which you haven't offered any clue.

You also say you don't like what you have. So the question is 'why'? What do they not do well for you?

But related to your title and the word 'allowed'.............. no legal restrictions on any size. Although some installers like WalMart and Costco won't put on tires more than 3% over factory when run through the tire calculator.

Well my last truck was a cummins that I have for years my tire set up was 37 /12.5r24 on 8 inches lift so I know this truck is smaller compared with my last one but like I say I will like to change the look of the tires for something more beefy looks

Depending on how much you chop, and lift, you can go pretty big. If your budget is about 5k you can get a decent setup. Go up to 10k and you will not be disappointed. At 2k you will see a lot of discussions on how to solve problems. Rough pricing may or may not include wheels.
