Man, I'm getting tired of a lack of aftermarket/ecosystem for my gear. I wish somebody told me when I was starting out "if you want one handgun type to do everything, it better be a Glock or P320". Like, CZ holster options? Few and far between for anything light+optic bearing. Want a duty/retention holster for said combo? Hahahaha, get fucked.

I just want to be able to run a P07 with a light and optic in 2gun, take it out of a retention holster, put it in a CCW holster, and have the whole thing just work. :annoyed:

    /rant

The temptation to sell it all and switch to a P320 RXP XCompact or G19 with an RMR is too damned high.

They have been slowly chipping away at the criminal code to allow for this move over the past years, unfortunately our only hope is to have them elected out of power.
Sorry about the political nature of the post, but it is 100% a politically motivated move by those who hold power right now in Canada. They don't want democracy, they want an unarmed populace.

I just hope that Canadians are aware enough to see what is happening and to vote them out. They chose a pretty obscure list of weapons, many of which are already prohibited here, in hopes that we just shrug it off, as is our Canadian nature. Never has politeness been a more dangerous characteristic.

Shameful how they took advantage of a national tragedy to push this in, they were clearly not prepared, but saw an opportunity and slapped it together..

We are in the Danger Zone

Before I bought my P320 I was looking for a duty grade handgun for when I went reserves at the PD, I really wanted a P09 but safariland doesn’t make ALS/SLS light bearing model for it, I’m stuck with my M&P, Poly 80 “Glock”, and P320 for now, they get all the accessories.

Dont remember if I posted. Sanded the finger grooves flat(ish) and it feels much better now. NO, this is not an EDC.

That's my exact conundrum. Had I known I'd be in this position I might've gone elsewhere, nice trigger aside.

Anyone deal with gun.deals? It's a link site showing supposedly live inventory. Or anyone deal with Guns Midwest out of Kansas? They show the gun I want in stock for a good price. But I've never ordered a gun online before. I have a great local FFL I can have it shipped to. I've emailed Guns Midwest to see if it's actually in stock or coming from a distributor.

I frequently use gun.deals to see what the cheapest price on most guns is, but I've not bought a gun through any of their listed vendors.

Only issues ive ever heard were simply fitment concerns. Previous Gens (during the change of full Swiss to partly Swiss/partly US made.. they had issues with the upper and lower fitment. Some slop.. but we're talking about Sig standards here. The slop would be considered top notch and perfectly acceptable in other lower tier platforms.

The later Gens fixed said issues with new manufacturing processes and fixturing. There may be some slight fitment slop still, but it's just personal preference at that point. Everything else is dialed and very well built. I havent had a single issue with mine so far and have put about 200+ rounds through it. Mix of home reloads, new, 55G, 62G, it eats it all and is just a complete joy to shoot.

I just got back from spending 3 full days out in the desert hiking around with my Chest Rig and the Sig, target shooting, varmint Hunting, etc.. and it was flawless, comfortable, and reliable. Super happy with the setup.

My next purchase will be a S&W M&P 22 compact.

I bought one a few weeks ago, shot it recently. It's okay, I'd give it a 7 out of 10. Could be smoother.

Just picked one of these up last week. Now I just need my range to open back up so I can actually go test it out. I just broke down and bought it at the LGS though, no real deals that I have seen lately.

I have not seen any deals either, I'm no hurry. Shield has been on my hip for ten years now, couple more weeks won't hurt.
