What have you made/created today?

Is that considered baiting or you not shootin em?

 

I rent a house here in Los Angeles, and I finally got access to the garage after living here 7 years. the 95 year old landlord (who lives in the Philippines) allowed access as long as I didn't throw any of her belongings away. Well, most of the stuff in the garage was straight up trash...

Here's how it looked when this project started.


I organized and boxed everything up that belonged to the landlord and threw out all the garbage. so that mess consolidated down to this
Then I got some boltless shelving and workbench and hung up a giant California flag to section off the landlords stuff.
Then added some pegboard and lights to the workbench and started organizing all my stuff.

About 50 hours of work later, it's done!

 

Nope, I like squirrels, they keep the place clean. They were eating all the birdseed, and I purchased a squirrel proof feeder.
Then I was bummed to see hungry squirrels (I'm not really a bird guy), so I made a corn feeder for them.

 

The chute I made, I did some grinding on it and had my buddy powdercoat it.

Built this shelf below the loft in my building today. It’s 24” deep. I had a metal shelf before but took up to much floor space for the little bit of stuff I had on it. You can see the metal shelf in the back corner in the second picture

Do be prepared though, the supplies are stuuuupid expensive, they take quite a while to make, and you have to make custom wooden crates to ship these babies across country, so it's no cheap undertaking.
Tbh though, if you're living in AZ, I could prob just drive it down and install it for near what it'd cost to ship if I drove the rolla. My dad lives south of Phoenix now and I haven't seen him since I graduated hs so. There's also a mosaic store in Tuscon I'd love to visit

Good lord you are talented... it’s always interesting to see an actual artist. Seems like they can work with almost any medium and make it awesome!

Thank you! When I was in highschool starting to get into art like 7 years ago, I became hellbent on learning how to do every medium I could. Makes it really hard to market myself, but I have a lot of fun; keeps things interesting... and expensive. I got the job after attending a stained glass class. Knew nothing about stained glass before the 2 hour class, but took the shot and asked for a job and they said yes, haha. I used to pick up their scraps for mosaics.

This is my favorite one so far! Love it!
