    Cats!!

Of all our cats that we have had, she’s the only one that has ever gone on the counter. We tell her to get down and she just gives us a look. :frusty:

Yeah, I guess I need to get one. I thought it would get old for her but obviously I was wrong.

It works but Otis just uses it as a beeline between the back door (sliding glass) and sink window. He’ll pause until we stand up or grab the bottle but always trots like he was always headed to one or the other. When my wife does it, it’s a game now. As soon as she turns her back he runs and boops the back of her legs. So now she can’t do it because it just encourages him.

For real, ours used to get on the counter to get on top of the fridge.

One of ours was a sneaky one, she never got into anything but you would hear the classic thump of cat jumping OFF the counter...when we would head towards the kitchen...

Yep. They know better than do it while you are in the kitchen.

Otis also gets on the hanging stove fan when he hears the squirrels on the roof.

20190411_074614.jpg We've given up trying to stop them. They probably spend hours on it when we're out, or prowl around on it at night when we're sleeping. So we figured, why bother if they're on it when we're home. :notsure:

Allie, the calico always jumps up and lays there watches me when I'm cooking.

We have 2 no-go zones....the kitchen table and the counter tops. Our 2 ladies are utterly unaware that such regulations even exist.

Ours never go up onto the kitchen counters, but they do like to get up on the dining table which we try and prevent in vain.

My siamese, Kink, never does in front of me, but I know she probably gets on the counters in the middle of the night. She never knocks anything over, but there's a window above the sink with the best view of the neighborhood squirrels. I've maybe seen her on the counter twice since I've owned her. Bathroom counters are free reign, they like to join you in the bathroom, and I'd rather have them stare at me from the counter than rubbing on my legs while I'm on duty ;)
My black cat, Jet, on the other hand, gets on the counter, sleeps on the fridge, knocks stuff over, drinks dirty dish water if we have anything in the sink... he's chaotic.

Tables are fine as well as long as we aren't eating. I wipe all my surfaces down before prep, and it's just my husband and I in the house, so we eat at our computers anyways

I walked into the front room yesterday to find Amos laying on the couch. I swear for a second I thought he was dead. Kind of cute but kind of creepy too.

Successfully pulled off the triple orange cat stack this afternoon. Like bull riding, 8 seconds for a full ride!
Needless to say they were not pleased.
Treats were forthcoming after this shaming. ;)
